Third level fusion
The most difficult fusion techniques are taught in the third level. In particular, students realise murrine glasses, light painting and extreme fusion. These techniques require complete command of material behaviour and several firing phases.
Besides the knowledge of the techniques mentioned above, students will explore fusion limits by producing flat tiles with very refined painting and light effects. As this technique requires several firing phases, it tests all the technical knowledge acquired throughout the two-year course.
The participation of experts in the field, coming from other countries, is included in the teaching program. |
